Here at Sonrise, we cherish the family unit very much. For this reason, we decided to host a Grandparents Day on campus so our children would be able to enjoy their day with their grandparents. The event included, story-time, meet the teachers, and break snacks.
Many of our children were excited to show off their friends to their grandparents and vice versa as the grandparents were able to meet their teachers and friends.
The event was such a success that we plan on hosting more of these family-type events in the near future. We’re also considering possibly having Grandparents Day twice a year
